Dash Camera Upgrade and Compatibility

The A129 Plus Duo front camera is not compatible with the rear camera and connecting cables of previous VIOFO models.

HDR & 60FPS Compatibility

The A129 Plus does not support using 1440p @ 60FPS and HDR simultaneously. Note that you will have to choose one or the other during setup.

Keeps Watch When You're Away

With motion and impact detection parking mode, the A129 Plus protects your car, recording videos when it detects movement or impact, even when you're not there.

You will need a 3-wire Hardwiring cable or an external battery pack (such as the Cellink NEO Battery Pack) to enable this feature.

Add Speed and Location Data to Your Videos

This A129 Plus comes with the external GPS module. With the GPS, you can record your speed and route data in your video footage files. The GPS will also synchronize the A129 Plus' clock with the GPS time so that your video files can be correctly time-stamped.

Did you know that your footage with speed and location information can be used a defense if you believe you received the ticket in error.

Viofo A129 plus duo

Camera is great and has good quality footage on both the front and rear. There are worse cameras out there and obviously better cameras. For the cost, 248.00 including a CPL filter and hard wire kit. It's decent. You can buy both cheaper on Aliexpress but not for the bundle I got from Black Box.

No better place to buy a dash cam

I bought a VIOFO A129 plus for my wife’s Mustang. We live in the Atlanta area and traffic has gotten beyond crazy here. The choices dash cams and the price guarantee and the you tube videos reviews are extremely helpful. This is the 3rd one that I’ve bought from them and would buy from them again.

Good value Dash Cam

This dash cam kit was very easy to install with the provided trim kit. I was able to hardwire install this on a Honda CRV in about 2 hours while hiding the wires in the headliner and sides. Configuration of the dash cam is straight forward with settings to adjust sensitivity and parking mode.

The Viofo IOS can definitely use some improvement for connectivity via wifi but the app is not really needed. I use it to download the video files to view it on my phone.

I did run into Wifi connectivity issues on this unit but the support from Blackboxmycar was top notch and was able to provide me a replacement. They only required me to return the front dash cam unit without all the accessories as I have already installed the wires in my car. The replacement unit arrived in a few days and worked right out of the box.

Very satisfied with the response from the blackboxmycar team and also VIOFO support team.
