New Dash Cam for the Bronco

Arrived early and was easy to install with the OBD II connector. I had a problem with connecting it to my phone. I called customer support on a Saturday for help, talked with a tech for about 5 min and then the phone call ended. I tried calling back but no answer. I believe it was close to the end of the day. Had to use YouTube videos to help connect the phone. I would have given 5 stars but could not get the help I needed when I called. I think it is a good product for the price. Still trying to get the software loaded onto my computer to view the footage but having problems. If i can't find a video to help me figure out the problem, I will try customer support again.

Thinkware F200 Pro review

The dash cam works as advertised. A couple issues I’ve had that didn’t show up in the user manual is how to power down the camera to take the SD card out. There is a heading for powering off and on but no directions. I’ve just been disconnecting the OBD connection for lack of a better procedure.
Also, the manual should mention that when connected to the WiFi, it’s important to disconnect from the camera/WiFi while in the DashCam app and not just close the app. Just closing the app will not allow reconnecting to the WiFi without turning on the ignition or accessory position on the ignition.
I found out after the fact that I didn’t get a 5% discount for a new customer. I thought it would be applied on purchase but it didn’t happen. Oh well….

Thanks,

Joe
