Thermo-Lo

This treatment uses radio frequency to treat skin irregularities such as sun spots, solar lentigines (liver spots) skin tags, broken capillaries (reducing the signs of rosacea), spider veins, cherry hemangiomas, milia, sebaceous hyperplasia. The Thermo-lo only works on the top layers of skin (epidermis) and the dermal areas are not affected. We are simply touching the epidermis and allowing the current to attract to the water in the milia, sebaceous hyperplasia, spider vein, cherry hemangioma to dehydrate the problem area...thus causing the body (over a few days to exfoliate the dried skin. The down time is minimal and the treatment can be permanent. What the client feels during the treatment is a slight heat sensation depending on their pain tolerance. We usually apply an OTC topical anesthetic before treatment. (not to anesthetize but to desensitize the area). It takes 15- 20 minutes to work.

Skin Tag Removal: Skin tags are very common, the use of radio frequency (Thermo-lo) will kill the skin tags blood source to help make sure the skin tag doesn't re-grow.

Solar Lentigines Removal: The Thermo-lo works well for these small uniformly pigmented macules. The pigmented lesions are induced by exposure to UV light and can appear as solitary or multiple lessions. The radio frequency  dries them up , so they can exfoliate off.

Sebaceous Hyperplasia Removal: This Is a common benign condition of the sebaceous gland. Lessions can be single or mutiple and manifest as yellowish, soft, small papules on the face. The radio frequency works on these while the laser will not because the laser needs to see color ( blood or melanin).

Broken Capillaries (small red spider veins)  Removal: It is amazing how easily these are removed with a touch of the wand to these areas.
